Some guy on deviant art has made a picture of himself naked with a wolf whilst some kind of an eclipse goes on in the background. If anybody can offer any further information on this i will be eternally indebted to you, thanks.

Some of these front covers are so good i can't believe they actually exist. Some guy has got them all for sale on ebay. I want to buy some.

I just brought the 1988 calendar. Fuck knows what kind of pictures are going to be lurking within it, but if you want one you'd better get in there quick because there's only 4 left. And the link probably wont even work by the time you click it because they'll all be sold, unlucky. Either that, or you'll be too thick to even want one.

Modern Centaurs

You know what centaurs are? Those weird mythical half horse, half man creatures. For some reason they often seem to be linked to odd sexual fantasies amongst both men and women. I'm well glad i don't fantasise over that type of stuff. It seems like you can't really help the things you're into sexually. You don't choose your sexuality. You don't decide you're going to be into 'whole lotta bottom girls', or choose to have a foot fetish. You just get lumbered with that kind of stuff. So i'm thankful god never dealt me a centaur fetish or anything like that.

Although, this one is not bad...

But really i'm just saying that you should also be thankful for the fact that you don't get turned on by centaurs. Because if you did, you'd probably end up thinking that these mythical beasts needed updating for the 00's and then you'd come up with this whole concept of 'modern centaurs', where men were half motorbike and stuff.

I'm not criticising the work, i'm just pointing it out to you. It's just he has one painting of a naked guy with a saxophone on his head and he's called it 'saxy'. Also if anyone can explain the thing about the ships on the heads i'd appreciate it, there must be a metaphor, or an obvious explanation i don't get. thanks.

Found treasures

I bought a box full of records from a second hand washing machine shop for about £3 or something. One of the records happened to be a NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK album. I didn't go looking for the New kids LP, which stank like it had been buried in the ground somewhere for weeks, dug up and then wrapped in dead peoples clothes for safe keeping. It just happened to be in there by chance. When i took the vinyl out of the sleeve, these four little drawings came tumbling out like spasticated confetti all over the floor. Imagine my delight. There is one New kid missing from the set unfortunately, so i've got the same feeling antique dealers must get when they have an old teddy bear with no eyes or something. They wouldn't fetch much at auction, but i still love them.

I love bad drawings of celebrities. Whether done by children or fully fledged adults who should have known better, i am always fascinated to see peoples' artistic interpretations of their heroes. It's almost like their eyes scanned the image in, their brains processed it, and their fingers acted like the ink jet printer and shat out some fucked up version of Tupac or who ever it's supposed to be. When you first lay your eyes on the sketch it's like seeing someone you kind of recognise but don't know where from, giving you the added bonus of a guess who game. I'm always left thinking the world must look so fucking bizarre through their eyes if they think this portrait makes any kind of sense.

Why is it that when people love a celebrity, they get an urge to draw them anyway? What are they trying to achieve? And then, they take the whole process a step further and upload the master piece onto the Internet so other people can check out their skills. I love it.
